Neymar wont cause trouble for Messi saids Edmilson

Former Barcelona defender Edmilson has said that his compatriot Neymar "wouldn't cause any problems" with Lionel Messi amid fears that there could be a clash of egos when two of the world's greatest players line up side-by-side."Neymar is an intelligent lad and he knows that Messi is more important than him because Messi has been playing at a very high level for five years now", the Brazilian said.
There have been concerns that the Catalan club would struggle with two superstars in the side and Johan Cruyff, former Barca player and manager of the much-vaunted 'Dream Team', suggested that Messi and Neymar wont work in the same side.
"A lot of people have said what Cruyff said and people want to stir up trouble before this situation has even come about", said Edmilson. "But Messi and Neymar are two very different players with different characteristics."
The former defender, who won two league titles and the Champions League during his four years at the Nou Camp, also believes Barca should do all they can do sign another Brazilian this summer.
"Thiago Silva had problems with injuries last season at PSG but he had a fantastic Confederations Cup," he said on the day that Barca president Sandro Rosell confirmed the club's interest in the Paris Saint German center back. "I would definitely sign him, he is a quality and technically gifted player and he'd fit in perfectly at Barcelona. Barca need Thiago Silva."
